Hotel Melia Habana LCDH (Havana) Nov. 2015

I should visit this shop more often, I don't live far from here when I'm in Havana but to tell you the truth I spend a lot of time at the Comodoro. I do like to pop in at least once a year to visit Yolanda, the house roller at the Melia Habana shop. She was out to lunch on this visit so I picked up a couple of her cigars to smoke that day, had a couple of drinks and was on my way. The selection of cigars in this shop isn't too bad, you'll find most of the pedestrian stuff and some of the special releases in their spacious walk-in humidor but they can get you what you want if you're a regular customer and will always set aside some of the special stuff for the time when they come in. We can't forget that Yolanda rolls some of the most sought after cigars within the group of Aficionados who prefer to smoke custom rolls. The lounge area is right in the middle of the shop with big comfortable leather chairs are set up. Yolanda's table is setup at the entrance to the shop within eyesight of the lounge. They have a well stocked bar with a professional bartender setup right in the middle of all of this. If you prefer a little silence and watch the latest soccer game, a private room is available for smoking as well. Display tables and cabinets are setup on either side of the shop featuring smoking Paraphernalia, smaller packaged cigars and alcohol. I always have a good experience when I come here.
