I used to come here more often in the past but with all the new restaurants opening up we sometimes overlook this place. It's not because anything has changed in the quality of the food or service, it's the variety of places that has increased tremendously. However, if we happen to be around this side of Havana and are looking for a place to eat, we still make an effort to pop in.
The menu offerings are varied and many are (as their name suggests) tapas and appetizers. However, they do have a Fish of The Day, Suckling Pig, Filet Mignon & Pastas available for something a little more filling. I usually end up having a couple of appetizers or tapas or share 3 if I'm with my wife. That's more than enough food to fill us, sometimes we can't finish it. This time we had the Ribs, Eggplant and Croquetas de Pollo. All were very good but I was expecting my ribs to be BBQ. Instead, they were braised in a house sauce, tasty, but not what I expected. The presentation is always wonderful and what it's served in, creative. That's why we keep coming back....and the Bucanero and Cristal are only $2.50. Meal for 2 with a drink each, $21.00. Decent price for a tasteful environment serving up equally tasteful food.
