Art Exhibit (Hotel Melia Cohiba) Havana

                     I almost always pop into the Hotel Melia Cohiba to visit the LCDH on the second floor. While there, I'll walk the entire public space and take a picture of each of the paintings hanging on the walls. They're on display and for sale, no price posted, only the contact information. They don't even display the names of the artists, the ones I posted I recognize.

Faces of Pinar del Rio (Cuba)

                    I put together a couple of previous posts that were more general, that's saying that the people in the pictures were from all over Cuba. These faces belong to people that live in the Pinar del Rio region of the country. Some are friends and some are strangers, most were taken during my current trip early this month.

Iglesia de Nuestra Senora de Monserrate (Centro Habana) Havana

              The church of Our Lady of Montserrat located on Avenida de Italia (or Galiano) and Concordia is not the original structure or location. The first one (between Obispo and O'Reilly), built in 1675, was destroyed in 1836 and rebuilt in this location in 1844. There wasn't much that I could find written on the internet regarding this church when I posted several years ago and nothing has changed in that regard. The pictures below are more current.
