I made time to visit the Club Havana LCDH on my current trip and found the new house roller, Reynol Perez Pereira, hard at work. He had to replace all those cigars that were bought during the Habanos festival the previous week. He was in good spirits and looked quite comfortable in his new role. The same faces were there, all except the bartender, and things were very quiet. I smoked one of the famous Monsdales to make sure they were still up to standard and they get a thumbs up. The humidor was well stocked, a couple of goodies were visible on the shelves. It's a shame the place is a little out of the way but that can also be a good thing. If you ever have time to visit this place when you're in Havana, do it, at least to try one of the house Monsdales....and if you like them, buy a few to take home. Always on my list of Casas to visit when I'm in Havana.
