Going back to the theme of the not so well known Cigar Shops of Havana. I discovered this shop on a previous trip when I was searching for my friend Rene who used to be the manager of the RyJ cigar shop in Centro Habana a few years ago. He is no longer here, having gone back to the cigar shop at the Fortress across the bay, but the cigar shop remains. This is one of a few shops where the tourist buses drop off would be shoppers. It will contain Limited Editions and Cuban Regionals like all of the better known shops but will be a little slower in getting rid of them. I picked up a couple of boxes of the Cuban Regional recently when there were few to be found around the city. Just off to the side of the Plaza de Armas, it's easy to miss if you're not looking for it. It has the usual Cuban Products like rum and coffee for sale as well as the cigars and has an upstairs lounging area with a bar. It's unlikely you'll bump into anyone you know.
